Chicken salon is a particularly popular Indian meal in East Asian and Arabian Gulf countries, often offered on Ramadan tables and large family events.
The salon is mainly based on vegetables and gravy, it is prepared either with chicken or meat pieces, it also relies on a special marinade for it, as well as on thick-textured sauce.
Some ingredients can be added for a better taste of salon, such as yogurt, butter or spicy Indian condiment, and can be served next to rice or Arabic bread.
We will offer you 3 different and simple ways to prepare the chicken salon in a variety of good flavors.
Chicken Salon
- 2 chicken thighs, chopped
- 2 potatoes, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onion beads, cut
- 1 carrot, cut
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 pills lomé dryer, as desired
- 2 pills Hill
- Tomato paste, as desired

Chicken Salon Method
- In a pot on fire, heat a little olive oil.
- Fry the onions and turn them until they turn golden.
- Add the garlic, stir into the mix until the garlic wilts and turns golden.
- Add the potatoes and carrots and stir.
- Heat the mixture on fire, stirring until the vegetables are half-ripe.
- Add chicken, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of ground coriander, a pinch of ginger and two cardamom beans. Stir the mix well.
- Leave the pot on fire until the chicken is cooked.
- Add the lomé and tomatoes and keep stirring.
- Add the tomato paste and stir well until the ingredients are well combined.
- Add the water gradually, stirring, taking into account that the sauce is thick in texture.
- Leave the pot on fire for 25 minutes until the salon is completely cooked.

Buttered Chicken Salon
- 2 kg chicken clip
- 1⁄2 1 kg tomatoes, squeezed
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 400 g butter
- 2-pack yogurt, scrambled
- 2 onion beads, cut
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 peppercorns, chopped
- 3 Cube Chicken Broth
- 1 tbsp coconut milk
- 1⁄2 tablespoon cummins
- 3 tbsp curry
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper kernels
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 Curry Paper
How to Work Buttered Chicken Salon
- In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the butter.
- Fry the onions and turn them until they turn golden.
- Add the cinnamon and black pepper, stir into the mix.
- Add the chicken and toss, for 5 minutes. Add garlic, curry paper, carrots, paprika and keep stirring.
- Add the seasoning and stock cubes, keep stirring, then add the tomato juice and yogurt.
- Leave the pot on the heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes until the salon is completely cooked.
Vegetable Chicken Salon
- 1 chicken, washed and chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 pill lomé dryer, as desired
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground hill
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cube chicken broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon problem spices
- Salt workshop
- A pinch of black pepper
- 2 Bay Paper
- Hot water, as needed
How the chicken salon works with vegetables
- Heat the oil in a saucepan over the heat, then fry the onion and toss until golden.
- Add chicken, garlic, stock cube, ginger, lumi and bay paper.
- Season the mixture with problem spices, salt, black pepper, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon and cardamom.
- Stir in the mix for 10 minutes and then add the potatoes, tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Add water until the ingredients are submerged and leave the pot on the heat to cook thoroughly.
