Meal with plums and almonds is a Moroccan meal


characterized by the combination of sweet and salty taste, a meal popular on Moroccan occasions and feasting, usually served alongside Moroccan bread, white rice, or Moroccan-style couscous. It is a healthy meal rich in protein and vitamins, mineral salts calutassium, as well as iron. We therefore advise you to prepare them and present them to your family and children.


Meats in plums and almonds


  • 1 kilometer lamb
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 1⁄2 Kilo Plum Dryer
  • 1⁄2 Cup Oil
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon saffron
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1⁄2 cup boiled almonds, peeled and roasted
  • 2 tbsp honey


Meat Method with Plum and Almond


  1. Heat the ghee in a pan, add salt, pepper, saffron, ginger, cinnamon, chopped garlic and a glass of water and mix well.
  2. Place the meat in the pan and stir until well seasoned.
  3. Add the oil and chopped onions, then remove the pan from the heat.
  4. Add a litre of water to the mix, cook until the meat is cooked, cover the pan and leave on the heat.
  5. Heat a saucepan with water until boiling, then place the plums and sticks in it slightly.
  6. Drain the plums from the water, return to the pot, then add the honey, cinnamon and 4 tablespoons of meat broth and allow to heat slightly.
  7. In the serving dish, spread the meat pieces followed by the plum then add a little meat broth and toasted almond.
  8. Serve immediately

Plum Meat Casserole


  • 2 kilos lamb, clip
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 1⁄4 Cup Plum Dried
  • 1⁄2 Cup Oil
  • 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon saffron
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1⁄2 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 Cup Butter
  • 1⁄4 Glass of Vegetable Oil
  • 1⁄2 2 cups water
  • 1⁄2 cup roasted almonds
  • A few coriander sticks
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey



How to work plum meat casserole


  1. Heat the oil and butter in a deep frying pan, add the salt, pepper, saffron, onion, ginger, cinnamon, chopped garlic, turmeric and chop the meat and mix well until the meat is well seasoned.
  2.  Add 1⁄2 2 cups of water to the mix, as well as coriander and cook until the meat is cooked, cover the pan and simmer over medium heat, for 40 - 45 minutes.
  3. Heat a saucepan with water until boiling, then place the plums and sticks in it slightly.
  4. Drain the plums from the water, return to the pot, then add the honey, cinnamon sticks, sugar and 4 tablespoons of meat broth and leave on the heat, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. In the serving dish, spread the meat pieces followed by the plum then add a little plum syrup and roasted almonds.
  6. Serve it immediately.
